Voy a intentar despejar algunas dudas sobre CSW, sé que lleváis tiempo esperando así que voy a aclarar las preguntas más frecuentes:
La primera y más importante es que el proyecto no ha sido cancelado. Hemos empezado a trabajar profesionalmente y llevamos un tiempo sin avanzar en CSW para dedicarnos en mejorar otros estilos de arte y darnos un respiro haciendo otro tipo de cosas.
La verdad es que tenemos muchas cosas preparadas en CSW que nadie ha visto y que algún día serán mostradas;
mi consejo es que sigáis con vuestras vidas y algún día volveréis a ver noticias de CSW pero por el momento no va a haber nada.
Nada de esto pudo ser avisado en la pagina web ya que perdimos la posibilidad de actualizarla hace tiempo.

juego gratuito pensamos que podemos demorarnos en él todo lo que queramos hasta considerar que está listo.

About CSW...
I'm going to try to disipate some doubts about CSW, I know you have been waiting a long time so I'll try to answer the most common questions:
First and most important is that the project has not been cancelled. We started to work professionaly and we have been expending a lot of time without developing fully CSW to improve ourselves in other areas and taking a break doing different kind of things.
The truth is that we still have a lot of things about CSW that we haven't showed yet and some day will be shown;
my advice is that you just keep going on with your lives and someday you will find some update, but for the moment there isn't none.
Nothing of this can be published on the main site because we lost access to it a long time ago. Also we can't release a first version
and then update it with downloable characters because the core of the game is not done, you might think it is by the videos, but it's really not finished.

i've take a break to tell you that a new trailer of CSW has been uploaded to youtube between the new stuff there are new characters as well as original stages (at least) new combos, attacks, etc.

Saludos de nuevo para todo el mundo.
hoy vengo por motivos didacticos, si, aprenderemos a distinguir un artista de alguien que asegura serlo...
Como mucha gente sabe, Card gallery es una pagina que creé con Ahruon en la que exponemos personajes de infinidad de juegos/animes unificandolos en un unico estilo que poco a poco hemos ido perfeccionando. Bien... con el paso del tiempo hemos podido comprobar gratamente como en muchos sitios/foros/blogs se han hecho eco de nuestro trabajo y motivados por CG han creado sus propios sprites basandose ellos, en cierto modo podriamos decir que hemos creado escuela, lo cual nos parece genial, pusimos a disposicion de los fans una galeria donde podrian subir sus trabajos y aprovecho la ocasion para recordarlo. solo teneis que mandar vuestros sprites a la direccion de la pagina: cardgallery@gmail.com
De todas formas tened en cuenta que estamos un poco ocupados con CSW y si mandais algo no aparecerá al instante pero tarde o temprano lo vereis colgado, animos!
Bueno volviendo al tema que nos ocupa hoy... asi como mucha gente nos empezó a dar su apoyo e hizo ke creciera la galeria dando animos (sonará tipico pero es verdad) tambien aparecieron otro tipo de individuos que rapidamente tacharon a nuestra galeria como una imitacion de los graficos del juego de GBA Tales of the World Narikiri dungeon de Namco en el que se mezclan personajes de toda la saga Tales y otras celebridades de dicha compañia pues bien... he llegado a leer por ahi cosas como... "no tienen ningun merito" "los colores estan robados" "son edits de los personajes de narikiri" "son imitaciones exactas" "cualquiera podria hacerlos"... pues desde aqui puedo afirmar y afirmo que alguien con una mentalidad asi puede considerarse cualquier cosa menos artista.
Asi es; no ver o no querer ver las abismales diferencias de ambos estilos es como decir publicamente que no tienen ni idea de arte o que tienen una miopia de 90 dioctrias.
Es muy simple, una imagen vale mas que mil palabras no?

Aunque sobran las palabras no voy a callarme aun...
Que puedo decir de esas comparaciones entre sprites? la gente que nos acusa de plagio se ha dignado a verlos siquiera? supongo que es mas facil criticar por criticar y hacerse los entendidos en foros cuando los autores no estamos delante, no?
los colores, los contrastes, los detalles... el estilo de Narikiri no tiene NADA que ver con el estilo de Card gallery, estubimos mucho tiempo creando un estilo propio, muchas horas haciendo sprites, pensando en la harmonia que debia haber entre los personajes todo lo mas cuidado que supimos, otra cosa que nos llevó muchos quebraderos de cabeza fue la escala entre personajes, al mezclar tantos personajes de tantos juegos diferentes no fue nada facil darles un tamaño y que fueran creibles entre ellos asi que puedes encontrar sprites gigantes como por ejemplo rand o bowser y siguen los mismos esquemas que los demas personajes que tenemos en la galeria
Un claro ejemplo de porque digo que esta gente no son artistas... segun ellos este Bowser de Card gallery, es un bowser hecho en el estilo narikiri... (si claro... pegaria tanto en ese juego este sprite... tururururu)
Lo unico en lo que nuestros sprites se asemegan a los de narikiri es en el tamaño y de hecho... ni sikiera en eso, es como decir que estan copiados de super mario bros ( una blasfemia de la misma magnitud )
Hace mucho que tendria ke haber aclarado todo esto pero pasaba simplemente, ahora... todo el mundo tiene un limite y un artista sabe lo que jode que le llamen ladron cuando ha hecho algo que le ha costado tantas horas de trabajo como es el caso de card gallery.
Lei comentarios de cierto usuario de DA que posteó en unos foros hablando sobre el estilo de Card gallery e hizo colmar un vaso que ya estaba lleno
HeartlessSoldier tambien conocido como chaleeman quien rastreramente parece criticar el trabajo de los demas a mas no poder, lei perlas como estas:
"Los sprites/pixel-art de esa página están basados en la saga de Narikiri Dungeon de BandaiNamco, sino es que imitados a la exactitud... usar una paleta creada por ellos, sería como robarle a un ladrón"
"hay mejores paletas, creo que en ésta comunidad hay gente que los supera "de barbas""
"sería una falta de respeto para los usuarios que han hecho sus graficos propios y han usado paletas propias, imponerles una paleta de poca confiabilidad"
"eso no es un tutorial de Pixel-Art ya que impone un estilo de hacer sprites, y enrealidad no explica nada mas que la creacion de un personaje..."

Por donde empiezo? en realidad a estas alturas creo que la gente ya ha visto como eres... me parece una actitud patetica, carroñera y desleal criticar de esa manera la paleta, los sprites (el trabajo) de artistas que le ponen empeño de verdad y no se limitan a hacer dibujos de enfermo que rozan el delito...
Y tu nos llamas ladrones? TU? creo que eres uno de los "artistas" mas lamentables que he visto a lo largo de mi tiempo en esto.
Ya te dejo tranquilo seguir pensando en niñas pequeñas que es lo que mas te gusta parece...
En fin, la gente con criterio propio y objetivo entenderan por que he decidido hablar de este tema de una vez.
Envidia? rabia? ira? dolor de barriga? quien sabrá lo que se oculta tras la mente de estos seres ( bueno en la de este ya lo imaginamos) pero pueden encontrarse en cualquier parte, podrian estar criticando algo tuyo en este momento! o_o

Today i write here for didactic reasons... yes, we will learn to difference an artist from someone who claims to be one...
As many know, Card Gallery is a website that i created with Ahruon in which we upload custom characters from various games/animes unifying them in a unic style that we have been improving with time. Well...as time passed we saw how a lot of website/forums/blogs have seen our work and motivated themselves to try our style, creating their own characters, something that we are really proud of, so we made a gallery for people who wanted to post them in our site.
Right now we are very busy with CSW and maybe we can't post those sprites in some time, but be patient please
Back on topic... as many people supported our work, making our site grow (it may sound typical but it's true) it's also true that another type of inidividuals appeared saying that out gallery was an imitation of the GBA title "Tales of the World Narikiri Dungeon" from Namco, in which they mix characters from the Tales of series and some Namco games. And so i saw stuff like this... "they have no merit" "the colors are stolen" "they're narikiri edits" "they're exact imitations" "anyone could do them"... so here and now, that someone with such mentality can consider himself everything but an artist.
That's it, not seeing or not wanting to see the abyssmal differences in both styles is like saying that they have no idea about spriting.
It's very simple, an image is more valuable than a thousand words right?

Even if it's obvious i'm not done....
What can i say about those comparisions? Those people who accuse us of plagiarism have even saw them? I assume it's easier to criticize and look like you know anything in forums where the authors aren't there reading, right?
The colors, the contrast, the details... the narikiri style has NOTHING to do with Card Gallery, we spent a lot of time making sprites, thinking on the "harmony" that must be between them, with all the care that we could, something that also caused problems for us, is the size of the characters and their scale, because we mix a lot of different characters, it wasn't easy to fix a size for them and make believeable proportions with giant characters like Rand or Bowser following the same style as the normal characters...
A clear example of because i say that those people aren't artist... so according to them, this Card GAllery Bowser, is a bowser made in narikiri style.. (yes sure... it fits so much in that game.... tururururu)
The only thing that is somewhat similar on the narikiri sprites is the size... in fact even that isn't true either, is like saying that they're copied from super mario bros
I should have made myself clear a long time ago... now everyone has a limit and an artist knows how it hurts when they call them thief on something they spend so many hours as we spent on card gallery.
